There are many good herbal supplement companies and many not-so-good companies. You are right to do your research beforehand. Most people just think that all herbal supplements are equal and that's not the case. There are some companies who put little-to-no active ingredients in their supplements and that's obviously not what you want.

You'll want to look for St. John's wort extract from a good American company that has been around for a while. The reason you want an American company is because they are more likely to do you right because they are more afraid of getting in trouble. A good company would be Swanson Vitamins. They have been around for a while and have good quality products. I know by experience. The St. John's wort that you find at walmart is also a good brand.

Always try to read reviews. Maybe you could search for people who have your same condition and see which brand they used, but I'm sure you'll love Swanson. I order from there all of the time. In fact, I have some St. John's wort from them in my drawer and it seems to work well.
