I heard that monistat helps make your hair grow faster. Is it true?
Actually as weird as it sounds, Monistat does help your hair growth. Now before you go running to your medicine cabinet and rubbing it on your head, read what I have to say. Monistat may work, but there are some side effects. A headache is the most commonly reported side effect of putting Monistat cream on your scalp. But the good news is that there are other things that you can use that work just like Monistat!
Monistat works because sometimes the fungus on our heads get in the way of our hair growth. Our hair is blocked from growing as fast as it could. Monistat is obviously a product that kills fungus. So there you have it. It works because it gives you a nice, clean scalp that promotes hair growth. Some people have reported up to 3 inches of growth in one month.
So what are some other things you can use besides Monistat that will kill fungus? There are plenty of herbal essential oils that will kill fungus and shouldn't cause any major reaction (unless you are allergic to that specific herb). You can use tea tree essential oil or peppermint essential oil to kill fungus on your scalp. Do not place it on your scalp undiluted though. You should get a carrier oil like almond, coconut, or olive oil. So if you were going to use olive oil, you would pour enough to cover your scalp into a small dish. (Don't pour too much.) Then you would drop a few drops of one of the above mentioned essential oils into the olive oil. Mix it up and apply to your scalp.
You should notice the same effects just like if you were using Monistat. It's probably fine to do this about once a week.
If you have any questions, leave a comment below and I will make a post answering your question.
It does work... but there are shampoos you can you use that have the same effect. I talk about it on my blog howtostophairlossforwomen.com. Try Nioxen anti-dandruff shampoo!
ReplyDeleteYea of course anything with antifungal properties will work, so any anti-dandruff shampoo works too. I prefer chamomile tea as an antifungal though because it also lightens my hair and conditions it and it's all natural. You can put anything antifungal on your head and cause faster hair growth though. Coconut milk or coconut oil are great antifungal hair growth treatments also.
DeleteChop an onion and add it to the shampoo. Let it stand for fifteen days and use the shampoo as usual. Not only does it make the hair growth faster but it also makes the hair look amazingly shining. make your hair grow faster
ReplyDeleteI think natural treatment works fast for hair grow.thanks
ReplyDeleteIf you make the commitment to closely follow the five steps below, not only will you grow long hair but your hair will be in beautiful condition throughout the process. Read my tips below...
ReplyDelete1. Comb your hair daily. This will help stimulate hair growth. Even if you’re at work, be sure to take constant breaks to brush your hair, just don’t get caught.
2. Moisturize your hair. Find a good moisturizing shampoo and conditioner that adds volume to your hair.
3.Use hair packs once a week to put sustenance in your hair. Much the same as your skin, hair too requires some product of spoiling on a general foundation and cutting edge hair packs help give a clean sparkle to your hair.
4. Trim your hair regularly. You want to do this to get rid of split ends and to add shape to your hair.
5. Uphold to an exceptional diet. Your hair too requires the reliable support of an adjusted eating regimen to develop well. Just ensure that all your meals have enough protein and iron in them.
And Finally, If you have 2 minutes - I will share you my story "How I Make My Hair Grow Faster, Longer, Thicker and More Beautiful in 15 Days". Read my full story at http://makemyhairgrowfaster.org
My own tips would look a little different than this...
Delete1. Instead of brushing all the time, which will cause split ends and damage, you should use a wide-tooth comb and comb it once only (not when wet). After combing it, put your hair up in a protective hair style (like a braid, bun, or some variation) and leave it for the whole day. The hair will be completely protected. Brushing your hair all day is a bad idea.
2. I agree with adding moisture, but not through a shampoo or conditioner which are filled with chemicals that actually dry hair out and cause more damage and build up over time. Instead, use extra virgin olive oil for moisture treatments.
3. Not quite sure what a hair pack is, but if you use virgin oil on your hair, you should need nothing more than that.
4. You don't have to trim your hair all the time if you take good enough care of it. Check the ends yourself. Buy yourself a good pair of sheers and keep them sharp. Only use them for cutting your hair. Periodically, go through your hair and trim off any obvious split ends that you can see with your own eyes. Every few months, you might get a very small amount trimmed off or you may do this yourself, depending on how adventurous you are. As long as you know that your ends are healthy, that's all that matters. If you have strong hair and you are taking good care of it, you might never have to get it trimmed unless you just want to even out the hemline.
5. Eating protein is good, but it does nothing if your hair loses the protein. To keep protein in your hair, use unrefined coconut oil. Your hair won't lose protein while you are using this and it also makes your hair thicker. It's the Indian girl's secret to long, thick, strong hair.
So thanks for the tips, but I had to point out the obvious flaws there.
