Make Your Hair Grow With Herbs

If you want your hair to be longer, thicker, and more healthy, there are plenty of herbs you can use to achieve this. Your hair grows at the rate of about half an inch per month. If you are lucky, in one year your hair will be six inches longer than it is right now. If you are just too impatient for this, you may want to try using herbs to help with hair growth and health.

Coconut oil is great for healthy hair growth. Other oils only sit on the outside of your hair, but coconut oil actually soaks into your hair shaft allowing deep conditioning to take place. It benefits your hair whether you take it internally or apply it to your hair externally. In fact, you may want to do both. You should take coconut oil capsules every day and when needed, apply it to your hair for a deep condition.

Coconut oil contains many oils that nourish and strengthen hair. Your hair becomes damaged with regular shampooing and the use of other chemicals on the hair. Coconut oil can protect your hair and repair the damage. Massaging the scalp with coconut oil once a week is a good way to promote hair growth.

For thicker hair, use licorice. Men can use Saw Palmetto if they are experiencing baldness. It is the most common herb to use in men for hair loss. Nettle can get rid of dandruff, which could be a problem that causes some hair loss. Ginseng is also used by men who may be experiencing baldness.
