Dye Your Hair Using Herbs

You can actually dye your hair using herbs instead of using harsh chemicals which fry your hair and leave it damaged. There are plenty of natural alternatives that you can begin using today. If you want to ditch the salon for good, continue reading to find out how to dye your hair naturally.

Lemon juice. If you want to naturally lighten your hair, use lemon juice. Because lemon juice tends to dry hair out, you may want to mix water and lemon juice in a spray bottle and spray it on your hair. Just spray the surface of your hair with this mixture and then let it dry in the sun. You should notice lighter hair soon, but it won't be immediately.

Chamomile tea. You can also lighten your hair with chamomile tea. Boil enough water for one cup and place a chamomile tea bag into the water. Let the tea bag sit in the water for a few minutes. Now you can either pour it over your hair several times, catching it in a container each time or you can use a paint brush to apply it to your hair. This helps to control it from running down your shirt. You can also put a towel around your neck if it's too messy. Do this every day and your hair will lighten.

Henna. The most common natural hair dye is henna. You have to be careful with henna though. Some companies add unnatural ingredients to the henna that may damage your hair. Make sure you are selective when choosing your henna hair dye. All natural henna has a reddish orange tone to it. It fortifies and strengthens your hair. It makes it thicker and mends split ends. It's India's secret for thick, long, lustrous hair.
