Caralluma Side Effects

Caralluma has been known to cause some side effects in people, but not any serious side effects. Herbs react differently with different people, so be aware of that. Some people may experience mild digestive upsets when using herbal caralluma. These digestive upsets include nausea, constipation, gas, and mild stomach pains. The longer you use caralluma, the less issues you should have with it.

Few people will even deal with these side effects. If you do have any side effects, they will normally go away before the week's end.

You should stick to the recommended dosage and do not overdose on caralluma. If you buy a supplement, the directions for taking caralluma will be on the bottle. Most capsules will contain 500 mg of caralluma, because this is the amount that has been proven most effective with weight loss in clinical studies.

Anyone can be allergic to caralluma, but it's not common. That does not mean it's impossible. If you begin to experience symptoms of an allergic reaction, discontinue use of caralluma. These symptoms would include difficulty breathing, rashes, and swelling etc.

Not enough research has been done on caralluma and pregnancy, so to be on the safe side, you should not use caralluma while pregnant or nursing.

Caralluma is generally safe for everyone with minimal side effects.
