There are definitely herbs that help cure infections. Having said that, infections can be very serious, so it's important to talk to your doctor if you have an infection that can be treated by them. Bacterial infections can be treated by antibiotics and there are medications for fungal infections also. Modern medicine is usually unable to treat viral infections though.

When you go to a doctor, they will tell you what kind of infection you have whether it be bacterial, viral, or fungal. They will prescribe medications to fight bacterial and fungal infections, but usually you can only treat symptoms of viral infections with modern medicine.

Herbs can definitely be used to shorten the lifespan of a viral infection. Some anti-viral herbs are olive leaf, green tea, and garlic. If your doctor has confirmed that you have a viral infection, you can take these herbs to help get rid of it sooner.

The reason I urge you to go to the doctor is because an infection is not something to play around with. It could be serious and it could cause serious damage. There are herbs that are anti-bacterial, anti-viral, and anti-fungal but you should definitely use modern medicine to fight bacterial and fungal infections. If you go to the doctor and he/she tells you that you have a bacterial or fungal infection, you should take what is prescribed for you.

At this time, there is no way to kill a viral infection through modern medicine. You should still go to the doctor though because you need to confirm that it's a viral infection and they will give you medication for your symptoms. You can drink liquids, rest, and treat your symptoms. You can definitely use herbal anti-virals to help you also.
