Coconut Milk and Avocado Hair Mask Recipe

Good oils are nourishing for your hair. It's important to deep condition you hair for optimum moisturizing and growth. Here is a recipe for a great hair mask for deep conditioning and hair repair.

You will need one can of coconut milk and one avocado. Take the avocado skin off and place it in a bowl. Mash it up and add the can of coconut milk. Mix the two together until blended nicely.

Now, apply the mixture to your hair with an applicator. You can just use one of those small brushes that you normally use to dye your hair. Just make sure it's been cleaned very well! Now apply the mixture with the brush and make sure you cover all of your scalp and length. Those with long hair may need to double up on the ingredients.

Cover your head with plastic wrap or a shower cap. Let the mixture saturate the hair for several hours. I would say no less than 3 hours, but do this longer than 3 hours if you can. Then you'll want to wash your hair with a gentle clarifying shampoo. Make sure you get it all out. Both avocado and coconut milk are full of oils, so your hair will be a bit oily and may require some extra shampoo.

You should notice that your hair is a lot more shiny once it's dry. There will also be a lot less tangles. Deep conditioning your hair at least once a week is a great way to pamper your hair and promote hair growth.
