Green Tea Weight Loss

Green tea is probably one of the most famous herbs for weight loss, but just what are the weight loss benefits and how much can you expect to lose with green tea? Here are the weight loss benefits of green tea:
  • Raises metabolism
  • Increases energy
  • Burns fat through thermogenesis
I take green tea everyday. With this herb, the weight loss is just an extra really. This herb has so many health benefits. I will talk about all of the other health benefits of green tea in another post though. So, why would I say the weight loss is just an extra?

Well, because if you drink 5 cups of green tea everyday, you will lose 8 lbs after one year. That's not much. But think of it this way: what if you combined green tea with other weight loss herbs every day? Don't dismiss green tea because of the slow weight loss. You could easily lose weight with green tea plus other herbs.
