Agrimony is an herb grown mainly for it's medicinal benefits. It helps to treat many conditions. Agrimony may have some side effects that you should be aware of before you begin taking it. As with any other herb, remember to only take the dosage that is stated on the bottle of the herb. If you take excess amounts of agrimony, it could cause some issues.

Be careful when taking agrimony because it makes your skin more sensitive to sunlight and it will make you burn more easily. Especially if you are already fair-skinned, be very careful. This also includes going to a tanning bed.

Agrimony contains tannins, which can cause issues if you take large amounts of them daily. Take agrimony as a medicine when you need it for treatment. It may not be a good idea to take it daily.

If you start to experience allergy symptoms, stop use of agrimony. This includes rashes, trouble breathing, swelling, etc.

There is a possibility that agrimony could be unsafe during pregnancy. Do not take agrimony if you are pregnant. Note that agrimony may alter your menstrual cycle also.
