White Kidney Bean Side Effects

White kidney bean extract supplements are the best carb blockers you can use, but there may be some side effects that you should be aware of when taking these capsules. Here are some things to think about before adding white kidney bean extract to your diet.

White kidney bean works and it works well; so well that you may experience some side effects because of how well white kidney bean is working. The most common side effect is ketosis. Most people experience this on a low carb diet. When you take white kidney bean, you are sort of creating a fake low carb diet. You are still eating carbs, but they aren't getting broken down. If you develop ketosis, you will feel sluggish.

Ketosis can cause an excess of protein in the body which in turn will cause a strain on the kidney. To get rid of it, put some carbs back into your diet without blocking them. Stay off the white kidney bean extract for a few days or a week to recharge your body. If you have an existing kidney problem, it may be best to avoid white kidney bean simply because you may develop ketosis and it will cause even more of a strain on your kidney.

If you take white kidney bean extract, you may also feel some digestive upsets such as diarrhea, gas, and nausea, etc. These are usually mild and go away soon.

Taking white kidney bean is a lot like being on a low carb diet. If you know anything about low carb diets, you will lose a lot of weight but as soon as you eat normally, the weight comes back. The same with white kidney bean. You should know that as soon as you stop taking it, you may regain the weight unless you follow a low carb diet.

I personally wouldn't recommend taking white kidney bean for long term because low carb diets are just a quick fix to weight loss. You are blocking something that is helpful to the body in moderation. Your body needs some carbs. Now, if you want to only take the supplement before a carb-filled feast, that is a good idea. You might not take it every day, but on the days you need it the most. Along with calorie control and exercise, you would be onto something.
