Herbs For Your Medicine Cabinet

Herbs should definitely be included in your medicine cabinet. They are the oldest medicines and they work well. Anyone who has tried it knows what I mean. Here are some herbs you can use for common issues.

White Willow Bark. Aspirin is made from white willow bark. It's a natural pain reliever that should be in everyone's medicine cabinet. You can use it for any type of pain.

Some herbal remedies for viral/bacterial/fungal infections:
  • Garlic
  • Echinacea
  • Goldenseal
  • Olive Leaf

If you have an infection, these herbs will knock it out. They work with your natural immune system. Garlic is very successful against staphylococci and streptococci. These are very common culprits in bacterial infections. It also kills E. coli, salmonella, and many other harmful organisms.

Green tea. Green tea boosts the immune system. It contains alkylamines which help your own immune system kill off infections.

Multivitamin. As long as you are getting the vitamins you need each day, you should be able to fight off problems. A multivitamin can help fill in the gaps and keep your immune system strong.
