About Tuckahoe:
Tuckahoe grows naturally in China and it's also cultivated there. It is a type of edible fungus that grows underground. Tuckahoe is produced in the provinces of Sichuan, Hubei, and Yunnan. Tuckahoe is known as a diuretic. In other words, it gets rid of bloating and makes you urinate.
Bitter orange and lotus are also said to be in Lishou slimming capsules. Bitter orange is a great fat burner, but should be used with caution. See my post Bitter Orange Side Effects.
Unfortunately, tuckahoe, bitter orange, and lotus are the only ingredients that they will disclose. They claim to use an "herbal blend" for the fat burner, but they do not say what herbs are used.
The price range of these pills are anywhere from $7 on Amazon to $30 at specific websites.
Side Effects of Lishou Slimming Capsules are:
- Sleeplessness
- Dry mouth
- Headaches
- Dehydration
- Jitters
- Irregular heartbeat
Lishou Slimming Capsules are said to reduce the appetite within the first day you begin taking them. They also speed up the metabolism so that you can burn fat. You are eating less and burning fat, so the result is weight loss. It seems as though many people have been losing weight on this product.
Those who are pregnant, have heart problems, or apoplexia are advised not to use these pills.
There are said to be counterfeit products, so be careful if you decide to buy these. As with any Asian weight loss pill, this is expected. The same thing happened with Fruta Planta.
Conclusion: The company is secretive, especially about the products. Some people will ignore this and buy anyway. Just remember that pills like this have been known to put people in the hospital before, so you are proceeding at your own risk. As of right now, there is no ban by the FDA on Lishou Slimming Capsules, but there probably will be soon. If you want real herbal weight loss, just use herbs that are known for weight loss like milk thistle, green tea, and acai berry.
For the record, I do not encourage the use of Lishou Slimming Capsules. You are old enough to read the information and make an informed decision on your own.
