African Mango Weight Loss

African mango has become popular for weight loss lately. It's true that African mango can help you lose weight. The extract of the African mango seeds, called irvingia, is a really effective weight loss aide. Here are the ways African mango can help you lose weight:

African mango is marketed and sold sometimes by the name of the extract Irvingia. Some brands include Life Extension, Swanson Vitamins, and Pure African Mango. Some of these products are priced outrageously.

African mango has been publicized after some recent studies revealed how effective it is as a fat burner. Dr. Oz says that no one should be without it. It contains fiber, which improved digestion, removes toxins, and makes you feel full. It burns fat, even without exercising. It also regulates glucose, which decreases fat storage.

There was a study done at the University of Yaounde. The participants did not change diet or exercise routines. This study consisted of 102 overweight men and women. For 10 weeks half of them were given 150 mg of African mango and the other half were given a placebo. The ones who took the placebo did not lose weight. The ones who took the African mango ended up losing 6% of their total weight. That means if one person weighed 170 lbs, by the end of the study they would be 10 lbs smaller.

Losing 10 lbs in 10 weeks with no change in diet or exercise sounds pretty nice. In another study, participants lost an average of 9 lbs in less than a month. Obviously if you did exercise or diet, you would see even faster results.

African mango is definitely one of the best fat burners available.
