If you have any plant allergy, be cautious about taking a safflower oil supplement as you may possibly have a reaction to it. You can alternatively get your essential fatty acids from another source such as fish oil, flaxseed oil, and coconut oil.
If you are pregnant or nursing, stay on the safe side and do not consume safflower oil.
The following symptoms are said to be common with safflower:
- Gas
- Vomiting
- Dizziness
- Chills
- Loose stool
- Minor aches
Some people may experience these side effects and some people may not. If you don't want to take the chance, there is always other ways to burn fat with other oil supplements like flaxseed oil, coconut oil, and fish oil. You could even use grape seed oil, which is very healthy for you too.
can the safflower cooking oil be taken instead of the safslim product and still have the same results
ReplyDeleteAs long as it states that the oil is specifically "high linoleic safflower oil" it will work. The Safslim product is based on a study done with high linoleic safflower oil where the women didn't exercise or diet and lost weight using it.
DeleteAs long as you take 1 2/3 teaspoon of any high linoleic safflower oil every day it will be just as good as any other product.
