FDA Approved Diet Pill

There is a new diet pill that is approved by the FDA. It's called Qnexa. They feel that the benefits of this diet pill out weight the side effects and risks. The importance of this news comes from the fact that it is the first pill that has been approved by the FDA in many years. It's newly developed, so the perception is that this pill will be "the best" out there.

My personal opinion is that diet pills give the illusion that you can take a pill and lose weight and be done with it. This isn't good because diet pills should accompany a good exercise program and healthy eating. I also happen to think that if anyone should use a "pill", they should go for natural herbs instead that are known for helping fight obesity. There are plenty of them and you can find them in their purest form.

For those who are morbidly obese, simply walking more each day and eating a set amount of calories would help them lose the initial weight. Adopting a healthy amount of calories is enough to help an obese person lose a few pounds each week. You don't have to starve or give up great foods that you love.

Which Diet Pills Have The Most Side Effects?

I've read through many herbal diet pill reviews. There seems to be a link between certain ingredients and higher cases of side effects. If you want to get a diet pill that will not cause side effects, you need to know what to look out for.

In all of the herbal diet pills I have reviewed, there are some that are problem causers. They give you a headache all day, nausea, irritability, fast heartbeat, heart flutters, irregular heartbeat, and even sometimes vomiting. What causes this? Too much caffeine! That's right. One little ingredient in many forms is causing these side effects.

Caffeine helps speed up the metabolism, so that is the reasoning behind it being a major ingredients in herbal diet pills. I cannot tell you why any manufacturer would put too much caffeine in a pill though. You would think they would know that it causes such bad side effects that people would complain and not buy again.

Evaluate pills with guarana, green tea, and caffeine. Guarana is pretty much pure caffeine. Green tea contains some caffeine. If the diet pills combine two or more of these ingredients, try to find out the total caffeine content.

Now, some amount of caffeine is good, but make sure there is not too much. If your diet pills tell you to take more than 300 mg of caffeine per day, you risk side effects. Everyone is different. Your tolerance to caffeine may be much higher than 300 mg.

Some things you can do to help alleviate the side effects of caffeine-laden diet pills:

Exercise. You need to burn off that extra energy or you will have trouble sleeping. If you are not too sick, try to exercise so your body can use up the energy.

Drink water. You should drink more water when dealing with diet pills that contain a lot of caffeine.

Lower the dosage. If the bottle says take two per day, start taking only one per day and see if that helps. You can also just find a new herbal diet pill that does not contain crazy amounts of caffeine. There are many out there that do help with weight loss and contain no caffeine.

Which Diet Pill Should I Take?

Many people try herbal diet pills and I'll tell you, 80% of these diet pills do not work. It's not the herbs to blame. Sometimes the herbs are low quality or no quality. Sometimes the dosage is far from being effective. Sometimes the ingredients are not right for you. Here is an example of each.

Low quality/no quality ingredients. Say the main ingredient is hoodia gordonii. This herb is hard to get ahold of. It takes 5 years to mature into the plant that helps with appetite suppression. 5 years- and on top of that, you need a special license to get it. So what do some companies do? They fake it. They use another type of hoodia plant that gives no effect on hunger and once you take the pill, you are convinced that all herbs are a scam.

Low dosage. If there was a study about african mango and weight loss and in that study they used 300 mg of african mango per day, you should compare that to any african mango product. Why would you buy an african mango diet pill that only contains 50 mg? It may or may not be effective. It's not a clinically proven dosage. Yet again, the herb gets blamed for this problem.

Ingredients need to match your needs. If you are someone who gained weight due to emotional eating, think about that when you select a diet pill. Would you choose a pill that will increase lean muscle? That wouldn't make sense. It would make more sense if you chose an herbal appetite suppressant that also promotes a positive mood like magnolia relora. Find your main problem and fix that problem. There is an herb for everyone.

Herbal diet pills do work if you get the right quality, right ingredients, and correct dosage.

Share Your Experience: Herbal Diet Pills

If you are like most people, then at one time or another you have taken an herbal diet pill. There is no doubt that herbs do help with weight loss, but not every herbal diet pill will help you lose weight. How so? Because not every diet pill is created equally.

There are some with not enough mg of the most important ingredient. There are some that require more effort on your part. There are some that have even fake or low quality ingredients. It can be expensive finding a diet pill that actually does help you lose weight. Some people start out skeptical, buy it because they really want to lose weight, and if the weight doesn't come off, they end up even more skeptical. I think this is horrible because herbs do help with weight loss if you find the right products.

This post is to encourage those of you out there who have tried a diet pill to share your experience with that diet pill. Did it work for you or not? Were you required to do a lot of work on your own? Did you feel the pill working? Do you believe the ingredients were good quality?

Your review could help someone who is wanting to purchase a diet pill, but they don't know what diet pill to choose and don't want to waste money. Leave your comment below.
